La Posada Milford

La Posada is another beautiful property owned by Hotel Fauchère and thoughtfully managed by Deena. The Presidential two-bedroom suite she arranged for us exceeded every expectation—it was spacious, comfortable, and truly everything we could have asked for during our stay. On the first floor is an outstanding Mexican restaurant led by Chef Miguel from Yucatán, Mexico. The cuisine was exceptionally authentic, and the wonderful staff prepared a memorable meal for us and our friends who came to visit. Every dish reflected care, tradition, and remarkable flavor. We wholeheartedly recommend that anyone visiting Milford make time to dine at the restaurant—it is, without question, one of the most authentic and enjoyable Mexican dining experiences in the area.

La Posada in Milford PA had amazing food, and the drinks, OMG! Our bartender, Julia, took care of us! She helped us choose entrees as well as cocktails!! She prepared the best cocktails! So tasty and refreshing!!! Thank you, Julia, and La Posada!!!

Location is PRIME if you’re visiting the town, short walk through a perfect neighborhood. There’s an adorable little park out front with an amazing view of the Delaware. The Mexican joint downstairs (Felix’s) is authentic and delicious. Initially I was disappointed it was under the Milford Hospitality Group umbrella, but they’re fantastic, locally owned, and genuine. If Felix’s is closed you have to check in up the street at a sister hotel. (It’s no hassle. My only hesitation is that they don’t convey their system very clearly online, so the process can feel perplexing the first go round.)

I was in Milford with my wife for the weekend. We ate at the restaurant only, did not stay in the hotel. However the food was incredible! The tacos, the baked fish were amazing. And especially the tres leches cake was the best we have ever did. I would come here just for the food even if you dont stay here in the hotel

Drove almost an hour and half to meet our friends here for dinner, and everything was spectacular! Our waitress was super knowledgeable and lovely. We got the loaded guac (guac with corn, cotija, chorizo, and pickled onions - not on the menu, so ask for it!), cebollas negras, and all different tacos. Each dish better than the next! Also, treat yourself to the clarified margarita- you’ll thank me later Also not on the menu, but a must have if you like spicy, is the habeñero cream sauce We ended with the tres leches, which was honestly one of the best I’ve had. It may be far, but we will certainly be going back!

Rooms were nice enough. Not fancy. Definitely mexican flavor to the rooms and the place. Rates are cheaper than other place in town. One special feature is that the inn is right across a small park with a great view of the delaware river. Get some wine,pour it in your room coffee cups and go over and enjoy the view. See photo. McAteer & Will Estates with Keller Williams Real Estate took some time away from selling homes to tour the newly renovated Laposada Hotel in Milford, PA, and the experience was nothing short of enchanting. I recently stopped into La Posada and ordered their charismatic martini, and wow — this thing was a holiday miracle in a glass. It’s smooth without a hint of harshness, the kind of martini that doesn’t punch you in the throat but still gives you that perfect warm buzz after a few sips. The color alone felt made for Christmas — bright, cheerful, almost glowing, like someone liquefied holiday lights and chilled them. And Rebecca, our server, was incredible. She had that rare mix of friendliness, timing, and genuine care that elevates the whole night.
